Biography

About me

I majored in History at the Eötvös Lórand University.  I then moved on to the Central European University to study History of Religion. I began my career as a drug policy activist at the Hempseed Association and have been directing the HCLU's Drug Policy Program and editing its website since 2004. In 2006, I was voted Secretary of the Harm Reduction Association. I became the non-governmental member of the  Drug Coordination Committee and an expert of the Parliament's Committee on Drugs. I am also an active member of various international umbrella organizations, such as the International Drug Policy Consortium and the Eurasian Harm Reduction Network. I regularly attend UN and EU drug policy events.

Why the HCLU?

....because here, I have the opportunity to be a member of an enthusiastic team, which proves day in and day out that democracy is not just a nice notion, but an effective tool in breaking down barriers of indifference and stupidity between people.
